Setting Up Parents, Teachers and Students for Remote Learning Success During Covid Times
Practical Tools to Enhance Families Emotional Wellbeing
No family planned for this, but now that it’s here, we are all doing our best to make it work. By supporting families, we hope to create cohesion between homes and schools while easing the stressors of educators during this trying time. Our takeaway wellbeing tips and tools will provide teachers and school staff with the knowing that their families are receiving support they deserve.
In our mission to prevent trauma and support healthy social and emotional development of children, we see the urgent need to focus our attention in offering effective resources to support resiliency and stress reduction at home, not only in the interest of children’s academic education, but more essentially in the interest of their physical, social, mental and emotional safety, wellbeing and ongoing development. |
The Challenge
As a result of the COVID 19 pandemic and associated stay-home and social distancing orders, increased rates of risk factors remain of significant concern as far as children’s health and wellbeing is concerned:

How we differ...
We have the honor of creating a safe learning environment When parents feel shamed or inadequate in their role, their own barriers rise - blocking their ability to welcome new information. Additionally, we strive to deliver information in an interactive and relatable way. Parents must feel the information is talking to them, their needs and circumstances. When involved in a dialogue or experiential exercises, our minds are more actively engaged to reflect versus passively listening.
