Positive Discipline is a research based, proven program of parent education and classroom discipline for the support of social emotional development of children and youth. Applied by thousands of families and schools over the past 30 years, across the country and internationally, Positive Discipline continues to impact the lives of families and entire communities. In this experiential class, adults will deepen their reflection about their role and form of interaction with the children in their lives and learn highly effective practical tools to inspire positive behavior in children, while fostering a family environment of greater unity, harmony and joy. You will take away solutions for morning and evening hassles, homework drama, siblings rivalry, back talk, children not listening and not cooperating and more. Positive Discipline Educator & Parent Coach: Estela De Wulf
Estela De Wulf is a Positive Discipline parent educator certified by the Association of Positive Discipline. Her courses and workshops of Parenting with Positive Discipline are solidly based on research based psychology concepts and principles while at the same time offering tools of immediate and effective practical use. She is also a Life and Parenting Coach, working individually with parents in creating plans and support systems that meet each family’s reality and specific needs. Estela’s life passion is to strengthen family relationships and help children and youth thrive and develop into their highest potential. Her previous paths included a career as a corporate lawyer and non-profit executive in South America, leading educational programs of social emotional development that benefited over 6,000 children in public elementary schools in Brazil, her country of origin. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband, Bernard, and their 9-year-old daughter, Rachel. The three of them enjoy applying Positive Discipline in their daily family life, continuously learning and evolving.
