Meet Dr. Elizabeth Topp, Ph.D.

Elizabeth Topp PhD works in private practice as an EMDR therapist with Roots & Wings in Malibu, CA. Elizabeth has a Ph.D. in Transpersonal Psychology and Master’s Degrees in Counseling Psychology and Holistic Human Development with specialization in clinical psychology, expatriate transition, and professional coaching. In her private practice, she supports clients with issues of personal & professional development using Attachment-Focused EMDR trauma repair and integration, Positive Psychology, Positive Discipline, and Presence Coaching. Elizabeth’s research and expertise is in the area of Presence, guiding clients to rest in the present-moment as a strategy for gaining self-awareness, self-regulation, healing and growth.In addition to clinical work, Elizabeth has extensive experience in Organizational & Leadership Development, specializing in cross-cultural training, executive coaching, and social impact strategy consulting. She is a yoga and meditation teacher, with additional certification in creative expressive arts and mind-body wellness.
Elizabeth has been working in the corporate sector for 19 years in the capacity of cross-cultural trainer, executive coach, and business consultant. Elizabeth is the Co-Founder of MōD, Meaningful Business Design Inc., a boutique coaching and consulting firm offering services in Organizational Design, Strategic Envisioning, and Organizational Development & Learning. In 2005 she designed and researched the original Presence Coaching executive coaching model. The 4-step process, STOP – OBSERVE – ALIGN – ALLOW, is used to guide individuals and teams to build more effective and sustainable leadership skills. Elizabeth has a Ph.D. in Transpersonal Psychology as well as Master’s Degrees in Counseling Psychology and Holistic Human Development. She is a B Corp Ambassador on the Board of B Local LA, serving as Education Partnerships Lead to promote business as a force for good on the planet.

You and your team are invited to create your own custom-designed personal retreat. These retreats are meant to rejuvenate your team as you take time away from your busy day-to-day routine. Find peace and stillness right here at home.
 
Your retreat can take any direction you want:
  1. Inspiration – Using the Presence Coaching method, explore and clarify your purpose and vision. In addition to Relaxation & Rejuvenation, these coaching exercises will support you to discover what is important to you and set goals to move in the direction of a more satisfying personal and professional life. Break out of limitation as you learn to live from your Essence rather than struggling or surviving.
  2. Relaxation & Rejuvenation – Meditation, Restorative Yoga, Massage, and time for Reflection through journaling and other Expressive Arts, you can let-go of burdens and rediscover your center. Yoga and Meditation can take place on the beach or at one of many beautiful local locations.
  3. Combination – Relax, Rejuvenate, & get Inspired through a combination of activities.
  4. Personal Growth & Development– Dealing with the challenges of life can leave us feeling lonely and lost at times. With an emphasis on Personal Growth and Development, you will receive personal attention that allows for sharing, connection, and a deeper exploration of existential issues.
